7 ZORAS Community Shooting Q2 7 ZORAS

7 ZORAS Community Shooting Q2

Our first community event with a photoshoot – Calisthenics, sun & real vibes

What happens when over 60 calisthenics athletes from all over Germany come together? Exactly: a weekend you won't soon forget.

Athletes traveled from Hamburg, Stuttgart, Lake Constance, and Cologne to experience three days full of training, exchange, and community in Kleve. And all of this with perfect weather – sun, good vibes, and plenty of motivation.

A weekend full of training & community

From Friday to Sunday, everything revolved around movement, exchange, and cohesion. Everyone stayed together on-site, so the community spirit was truly lived around the clock – not just during training.

Calisthenics was more than just a sport: it was the common denominator for everyone.

A little about us:

7 ZORAS is currently an extremely fast-growing calisthenics community that connects more and more athletes from all over Germany. The focus is clearly on genuine movement culture, a strong sense of community, and the common goal of providing added value to calisthenics.

It's not just about training, but about rethinking the entire game: more exchange, more quality in content, more cohesion, and events where the community is truly at the center.

With this approach, 7 ZORAS is gradually reorganizing the calisthenics game – authentically, approachable, and with a clear vision for the future.

Event highlights

Handstand workshop with Jannis Kötz

One of the biggest highlights was Jannis's handstand workshop. This was not only about practice but especially about theory:

  • How does balance really work?
  • Which body lines are crucial?
  • Why do many fail at handstands – and how do you solve it?

This gave many athletes a completely new perspective on the movement.

Community, content & creative energy

A special element of the event was the large shoot with a professional camera crew.

Featuring:

  • VierSechs Video from Hamminkeln
  • Jean Lagarden & Jens Lagarde
  • Dan - an athlete himself at 7 ZORAS
  • as well as other supporting crews

In total, three agencies were involved in producing all the event content.

Important:
All content was deliberately created so that the community can use it for free – for their own projects, memories, and social media.

T-shirts, catering & organization

To ensure everyone could fully focus on training, everything was taken care of:

  • Custom event T-shirts for all athletes
  • Food for the entire day
  • Plenty of water
  • Sunscreen for the long sessions in the sun

These small things made the day much more relaxed and familiar.

Ideas, future & new products

In addition to training and content, there was also room for discussions.

Together, they:

  • discussed new ideas
  • gathered product approaches
  • and talked about the future of the community

Spotify playlist from the community

Even the music wasn't an afterthought:
The event's Spotify playlist was compiled directly by the community.

Everyone could contribute tracks – and precisely because of this, a soundtrack was created that perfectly matched the weekend.

Why calisthenics is so special

Calisthenics is more than just training in the park or gym. It's a sport that connects people because it:

  • can be trained anywhere
  • doesn't require complicated equipment
  • fosters creativity
  • and thrives extremely on community

This event in particular showed: progress is created not only through repetitions but through people who push each other.

Conclusion: Being there is everything

This weekend in Kleve was not an ordinary event. It was a meeting point for people with the same passion – movement, body control, and community.

Over 60 athletes, a strong team behind the camera, new ideas, good music, and a common goal:

Living calisthenics – together.

And that's exactly what made this event so special.

The next event will take place in Karlsruhe on May 17, 2026!
